Backwoods are very popular among cannabis enthusiasts, artists, or anyone who loves rolling up gorilla thumbs. Rolling a "Wood" can be a bit more complicated than rolling a joint but with tons of practice you'll become a master in not time. Step 1: Breakdown The Flower
Before you begin anything make sure you breakdown the flower first. Everyone has their own way of breaking down cannabis but Tre Da Ace breaks down the flower with his fingers. Make sure you break down the flower small enough to fit inside your wood but not small enough that the nugs will fall out. Once you're done breaking it down then it's time to move to the next step.
Step 2: Gut The Wood
Now it's time to gut that Wood. When it comes to backwoods instead of cutting it down the middle like a regular rillo, Backwoods need to be unraveled. You need to find the edge of the leaf, that's where you begin. Once you open it take out the guts and you'll be ready for the next step.
Step 3: Pack It Up
Now for the fun part - stuffing that Wood with your favorite type of flower. Start at one end and work your way down, making sure to pack it in tightly as you go. This is where you can get creative and mix and match different strains to create your perfect smoking blend.
Step 4: Roll It Up
You're almost done! Now it's time to pearl that Wood like a boss. Tuck the edges closest to you over the flower, then use your thumbs and fingertips to roll it back and forth until it's even all around. If the little nugs fall out then don't worry because you can always add them back in.
Step 5: Seal It & Enjoy!
You made it to the final step! Lick the edges, tuck it real good and seal it. Once you're finished its time to enjoy your Backwood.
