Introduction Into Cooking With Cannabis: Backstory
Mother Earth University was an idea I had when I first started the Mother Earth brand. At that point it was just an idea because I was frustrated not being able to find find reliable and relatable information. Mother Earth was born. I put my idea on the back burner and just focused on every other aspect of my business. But last year it was time to bring my idea back to the forefront. It was time to starting teaching all I've learned in those two years of working and to make it better, I wanted to do it for FREE. I believe that everyone should have a chance to get into the cannabis industry and because it's so new, with just a few years of study and experience you could become an expert.
I began to co-create a course with my COO Alfonso and we worked a little over 2 months to get the course ready. I know that the course might seem short and sweet but it took a lot of time into putting it together. From the formation of the course, the information to put inside, the editing, the images, quizzes and so much more. It was one of the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Creating a course that's meant to actually help can be a pretty tedious task. As hard as it was, it was one of the most fulfilling as well. When students logon to take the course it makes me feel something I haven't felt since I was teaching at summer programs a few years ago. Let me know that I was making a difference, once student at a time.
